The 50 renders excellent color saturation and contrast. This is considered the standard wide angle lens, comparable to a 28mm focal length in 35mm photography. Its rectilinear construction corrects for distortion which makes the 50 a very versatile lens, especially for journalism, portraiture and landscapes.
