The QV-5700 takes digital imaging to the next level by putting 5 million effective pixels (5.36 million total pixel CCD) of picture recording power into the palm of your hand. Images up to 2,560 x 1,920 pixels can be recorded, which is large enough for high-definition printouts of A3 size and larger. Beautiful color reproduction is ensured by the use of primary color filters that make everything from exquisite flesh tones to finely detailed scenery yours at the touch of a button.
You can display a real-time histogram, which is a graph of pixel brightness in terms of the number of pixels. This provides valuable feedback about exposure when recording images under difficult lighting conditions, particularly when shooting under bright light outdoors. You can also display the histogram during playback to check the exposure of images you have already recorded Micro drive Compatible (1 GB, 340 MB).
Recorded images are stored on highly reliable CompactFlash card media. Use of a CF Type II Microdrive (1 GB or 340 MB) makes it possible to record a large number of images without worrying about memory capacity.
*The camera does not come with a Microdrive. It is up to you to purchase a Microdrive separately if you want to use it.
Outstanding Battery Life
Use of a long-life AA-size Lithium batteries (FR 6) provides up to 5 hours 20 minutes of continuous playback between charges. Also supported are AA-size Alkaline batteries (LR 6) and Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries (NP-H3), both of which provide up to 3 hours of continuous playback.
Exif Print is an internationally supported, open standard file format that makes it possible to capture and display vibrant digital images with accurate colors. With Exif 2.2, files include a wide range of shooting condition information that can be interpreted by an Exif Print printer to produce better-looking prints.
