The large 23.0mm x 15.5mm CCD with its high resolution canvas of 12.3 million effective pixels also achieves a dynamic range of 400%, approaching that of negative film. Also its optimized optical low pass filter enables high resolution while minimizing moiré. Achieving both high resolution and high S/N ratio, it captures subjects in clear, exquisite detail.
