- This camcorder incorporates a high band processor that restores the high band component of the luminance signal and ensures extremely high horizontal resolution of 520 lines by 480 vertical lines.
- Versatile Multimedia Interface
- DV In/Out terminal (i.link: IEEE-1394) is provided for fast loss-less Digital transfer to a computer, or dubbing from or to another DV unit. Also features a USB terminal for easy fast plug and play data transfer.
- Zoom
- Equipped with a 10x optical zoom that lets you close in on your subject with a pure optical quality, and the 200x digital zoom that lets you go all the way out with incredible close-ups. Spline Interpolation technology smoothes out image contours to minimize jagged edges. You can also zoom in on any part of an image during playback with the 20x pinpoint zoom.
- PCM Digital Stereo Sound
- The camcorder's digital audio system offers a choice of either 2-channel (16-bit linear, 48kHz sampling) or 4-channel (12-bit non-linear, 32kHz sampling) recording, enabling two different stereo soundtracks to be recorded for the same footage.
