GR1 features an optical unit with seven elements in four groups that rivals the best 35 mm SLR lenses. Featuring a 28 mm lens that is similar in construction to the interchangeable lenses used in SLR cameras, the GR1 has a lens unit with seven elements an
d applies special lens coating and assembly techniques. The result is a high precision compact lens that delivers excellent image quality.
