Sony Mavica MVC-CD300 | $649.95 | | |
The Sony Mavica MVC-CD300 writes its images directly to 156 MB (8 cm) CD-R or 156 MB (8 cm) CD-RW. The ability to use CD-RW gives you the option to erase the contents of (format) the CD and start again, obviously CD-RW discs are more expensive than CD-R b
ut now at least you have the option to choose. The other dilemma with CD-RW is that only CD-R/CD-RW drives can read them, finalised CD-R's from this camera can be read in any computer CD-ROM drive.
The CD300 uses a 3.3-megapixel and employs a Carl Ze
iss 3x Vario Sonnar zoom, rapid 3-shot burst mode and AE Bracketing feature. The InfoLithiumŪ "M" series battery allows for up to 3,000 shots on a single charge.
The focusing system is equipped with an AF illuminator to adjust focus in poor lighting s
ituations. The Sony Mavica MVC-CD300 features expanded manual controls - Aperture priority lets the photographer decide depth of field, or how much of the scene is in focus. Shutter priority lets the photographer choose shutter speed to freeze action appr
opriately and, with full-manual control, both aperture and shutter speeds can be adjusted to best fit picture needs.
